Like all our magnificent bacon, this comes from Andrew and John Ramsay, "Food Heroes" according to Rick Stein. Their Perthshire reared pork is naturally raised with no nasty additives in their food. Then the bacon is cured and smoked in the same way as their ancestors started preparing it in the first half of the 19th century. No artificial preservatives!
